Beyond the 12-Lead ECG: Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring in Clinical Practice

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

4. Select a structured decision-making framework to select the most appropriate monitoring device and duration for a given patient based on symptom frequency and clinical context.

5. Evaluate findings from ambulatory ECG monitoring to support evidence-based next steps, including referral, medication review, and further diagnostic workup, within the learner’s professional scope of practice, licensure, institutional protocols, and applicable state or board requirements.

This 3-hour continuing education course gives healthcare professionals a clear, practical framework for ambulatory ECG monitoring.
