Connecticut RN Standard Renewal Requirements: Connecticut RNs must renew every year by their birth month’s end, but are only required to complete 2 hours of board-approved CE in behavioral health and suicide prevention every 6 years. Courses must specifically address PTSD, suicide risk, depression, grief, and suicide prevention , and may be completed online or in person if they are from a board-accepted provider.
