First-time renewal: Even if this is your very first cycle, you must submit the online renewal and fee by Sept 30 2026. Because Delaware imposes no CE, newcomers simply attest that their personal details are up to date.

Certification status: Delaware offers two technician designations:

• Pharmacy Technician – no national credential required.

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT-DE) – must keep an active PTCB or ExCPT certificate on file. The CPhT-DE status is optional unless you want to immunize or work at a 3-tech-to-1-pharmacist ratio.

Immunization authority: Nationally-certified Delaware techs may administer vaccines only when all of these are true:

• Accredited training. Complete a Board-accepted, hands-on immunization program.

• Current CPR/BLS. Maintain CPR certification that covers adults and children.

• Board notice. File your completion certificate with the Board before the first injection.

• Age & supervision. Work under a pharmacist immunizer and limit shots to patients ≥ 3 years old.
