2 contact hours, once every six years, covering (1) screening for PTSD, suicide risk, depression, grief, and (2) suicide-prevention training.
Connecticut LPN Standard Renewal Requirements: Connecticut LPNs must renew their license each year by the end of their birth month but are only required to complete 2 hours of state-approved CE in behavioral health and suicide prevention every 6 years. These hours must specifically address PTSD, suicide risk, depression, grief, and suicide prevention, and may be completed online or in-person through board-accepted providers. LPNs are required to attest to compliance upon renewal and must keep documentation for at least three years. CT Official CE Policy

First-time renewal: New Connecticut LPNs renew in the first birth-month after licensure and are already eligible for the 2-hour suicide-prevention course; no other CE is required. Board Link
