15 hours in disease state management/drug therapy, AIDS/HIV therapy, patient safety, or immunizations
Utah Pharmacy Standard Renewal Requirements: Pharmacists in Utah must complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years, with at least 12 hours being live or technology‑enabled and 1 hour focused on pharmacy law or ethics . Additionally, 15 hours must be in specific clinical or safety-related topics. Additional CE is required depending on services provided—such as immunization, injectable administration, or dispensing hormonal contraceptives—each adding a 2‑hour requirement. The renewal deadline is consistently September 30 of odd‑numbered years, such as 2025.
