• Colorado Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Standard Renewal Requirements: Colorado DOs renew on a fixed biennial schedule (April 30 of odd-numbered years) and, starting with the 2027 cycle, must document 30 CME hours in the prior 24 months through Board-recognized providers. The 2-hour SUD training applies every renewal and counts within the 30 hours. Accepted CME includes ACCME/AMA PRA Category 1, AAFP Prescribed, AOA-approved, or activities required to maintain national board certification. Colorado General Assembly
