What are the CE requirements for Alaska Pharmacists?

Every Alaska pharmacist must complete 30 contact hours of continuing education per 2-year renewal period, from an ACPE accredited provider, to meet Alaska pharmacist license renewal requirements. • Pharmacists who administer vaccines or related emergency medication under 12 AAC 52.992 must complete 1 hour of ACPE-approved immunization CE for pharmacists , counting toward the 30-hour total. 12 AAC 52.320(e)

• First-time renewal is prorated: an applicant renewing a pharmacist license for the first time must certify one-half of the standard continuing education requirement for each complete 12-month period the license has been held. 12 AAC 52.320(c)
