Standard License Renewal Requirements: Connecticut Pharmacists

Every Connecticut pharmacist must complete 15 contact hours of accredited continuing education per calendar year, from an accredited provider, to satisfy Connecticut pharmacist license renewal. At least 5 of the 15 hours must be earned through live attendance and the remaining hours may be completed through online or home study courses like the Connecticut Pharmacist CE Package . CE hours cannot be carried over between calendar years. Within the 15 hours, all Connecticut pharmacists must complete 1 hour on Connecticut pharmacy law CE every renewal year.

Verification and Reporting

Connecticut pharmacists are not required to submit CE certificates for routine annual renewal, but must produce them on request for an audit or a license reinstatement. Certificates of attendance must be retained for 3 years. Pharmacist Continuing Education Requirement
