  • Delaware Medical Doctor Standard Renewal Requirements: Delaware physicians renew every two years, with licenses expiring March 31 of odd-numbered years, and must complete 40 hours of Board-approved CME in the preceding full period (prorated for first renewals). (DPR – License Renewal; DPR – CE & Audit) In addition, physicians must complete the Board’s Mandatory Reporting training each cycle, CSR holders need 2 hours of controlled-substance-related CE per cycle (and new CSR applicants must take the state 1-hour course), and doctors have a one-time 2-hour requirement in Alzheimer’s/dementia. (DPR – Mandatory Training; DPR – OCS CE; DE SB 319)
