How much CE do California Pharmacists need for license renewal?

Every California pharmacist must complete 30 hours of continuing education in the 24 months preceding renewal, from a Board-recognized provider, to satisfy California pharmacist license renewal. California sets no live-instruction minimum, so all 30 hours may be completed through home study or online courses with an accredited package like California Pharmacy CE Package . Within the 30 hours, all California pharmacists must complete 2 hours on California pharmacy law and ethics CE through a Board-provided course, and 1 hour on c ultural competency CE , each renewal period.
