40 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™

every two years. DOs are required 40 hours of Category 1 ACCME-accredited courses every two years. All controlled substance prescribers must complete

4 hours in controlled substance prescribing

every renewal, .5 of which must be completed through an online tutorial and test, as described by the Board in section 58-37f-402. The online tutorial and test may only be offered by the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing. Access the training here: https://dopl.utah.gov/csd/index.html.The remaining 3.5 hours may be completed through an AMA PRA Category 1 Credit course that meets Board requirements.
