  • 2 hours in cultural competency focusing on patients who identify as LGBTQ.

  • At least one course in pharmacology.

  • First-time renewals have no CME requirements.

  • Physicians with a DEA registration must complete a one-time 8-hour training on managing patients with opioid or other substance use disorders.
