1 hour Health-Equity training per cycle (must meet WAC 246-12-830 standards).
Washington Pharmacy Technician Standard Renewal Requirements: Licensed pharmacy technicians in Washington must renew their certification biennially—on or before their birthday—with the option to submit as early as 90 days ahead, and they receive renewal reminders via the Department of Health’s HELMS system . Each renewal cycle requires 20 hours of continuing education, which may be earned through home‑study or accredited online offerings, with no live‑learning minimum.
