Required Courses:None

First‑time renewal requirement: All pharmacy technicians must hold current registration through Wisconsin’s LicensE online portal to apply for renewal; there are no additional CE or training requirements for first-time Renewals in a biennium lacking CE obligations.

Certification requirement: Technicians must maintain a valid Certified Pharmacy Technician credential, and any technician supervising vaccine administration must also hold Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification, per Wis. Stat. § 450.035(2h) and PharTech41 guidelines.
Immunization administration requirement: Technicians who administer immunizations must complete at least 2 hours of ACPE‑approved training in hands‑on injection technique and emergency reaction recognition, maintain active BLS/CPR certification, be under direct pharmacist supervision, and must be 18 years or older. These standards are defined in Wis. Stat. § 450.035(2h) and Administrative Code Phar 7.015(3)(b)5.
