    • First-time renewal: Every newly registered or certified pharmacy technician still faces the March 31 biennial deadline. File online through the New Hampshire Licensing Portal, pay the $100 fee, and—if you’re certified—upload proof you completed your national CE; there’s no “first-cycle” waiver.

    • Certification alternative: New Hampshire’s rule is simple—maintain an active PTCB® or ExCPT® credential and the 20-hour CE bundle that goes with it, and you have automatically satisfied the state’s continuing-education rule for certified technicians (Ph 810.02).

    • Immunization authority: Only a Licensed Advanced Pharmacy Technician may administer vaccines. To qualify, you must (1) upgrade to the advanced license, (2) complete ACPE-approved hands-on immunization training, (3) hold current CPR certification, and (4) earn 2 hours of immunization-specific CE each licensing period, all while giving shots under the on-site supervision of an immunizing pharmacist as laid out in RSA 318:16-b and Ph 1809.01.
