Texas Pharmacy Technician Standard Renewal Requirements: Pharmacy technicians in Texas must renew their registration biennially, on or before the last day of the issuance month. To renew, they must complete 20 contact hours of approved CE, including 1 hour specific to Texas pharmacy law/rules , with up to 19 hours in elective topics such as certification CE. Additionally, completion of a Human Trafficking Prevention course approved by HHSC is required, and may count toward the total CE if appropriately accredited. Texas State Board of Pharmacy
