Nevada Physician Assistant Standard Renewal Requirements: Physician Assistants in Nevada renew their licenses biennially by June 30 of odd-numbered years. License renewal requires completion of 40 hours of continuing medical education every two years, with fewer hours if licensed partway through the cycle (pro-rated). CME must be approved Category 1 credits as recognized by the American Academy of Physician Assistants or AMA. A one-time 2-hour SBIRT training is required by the 2025 renewal cycle, alongside ongoing education on drug addiction, opioid prescribing, and suicide prevention.
