2 hours of Missouri-specific medical jurisprudence every renewal
Missouri Physician Assistant Standard Renewal Requirements: Physician Assistants in Missouri renew their licenses biennially by January 31 of even-numbered years. PAs are required to maintain current certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for license renewal compliance. Assistant Physicians must complete 50 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 CME credits, including at least 40 hours of Category 1 with post-tests, plus 2 hours of Missouri-specific medical jurisprudence every renewal. Renewals and verifications are managed through the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts via the MOPRO system effective January 2025 Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts
