2 hours of opioid abuse and prescribing CME required within two years prior to controlled substance registration renewal.
Indiana Physician Assistant Standard Renewal Requirements: Indiana Physician Assistants must renew their licenses every two years by June 30 of even years, maintaining current NCCPA certification which satisfies CME requirements. For those renewing controlled substance registrations, two hours of opioid abuse and prescribing CME within the prior two years is mandatory. The Indiana Professional Licensing Agency manages licensure and renewal processes.
