Pharmacotherapies for anxiety are widely used in the ambulatory setting. Pharmacists are uniquely positioned to support providers in management of complex pharmacotherapy questions around medication selection, adjustment, and drug interactions. However, published guidelines offering specific strategies are lacking.

Jineane Venci received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Buffalo in 2009. She subsequently completed a PGY-1 pharmacy residency at The University of Rochester Medical Center and received a Masters in Clinical Investigation from The University of Rochester. She is a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist and is employed as a Senior Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at a large academic medical center.
