Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker Standard Renewal Requirements: Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) in Florida renew their licenses every two years by March 31 of odd-numbered years. They must complete 30 continuing education hours for renewal, including 2 hours of Medical Error Prevention, 3 hours of Ethics and Boundaries or Telehealth training (alternating each biennium), and every third renewal cycle requires 3 hours of Florida Laws and Rules plus 2 hours of Domestic Violence education. Qualified Supervisors must complete 4 hours of supervisor training every third renewal. There is no minimum for live or in-person hours, and CE credits must come from board-approved providers registered in CE Broker. Licenses not renewed on time enter delinquent status and risk nullification. Continuing Education
