Connecticut Dentist Standard Renewal Requirements: Connecticut dentists renew annually but must attest to 25 hours of qualifying CE every two years. The CE must include one hour each in: (i) any three of the state’s ten mandated subjects, (ii)
infection control, and (iii)prescribing controlled substances & pain managementeducation. Online courses are allowed, and dentists may substitute up to 10 CE hours with volunteer service (8 hours of free care per 1 CE hour).
