North Dakota Dentist Standard Renewal Requirements: North Dakota dentists must complete 32 CE hours every two years, including at least 2 hours in
ethics/jurisprudenceand 2 hours ininfection control, with no more than 16 hours via self-study courses. Dentists holding anesthesia or sedation permits need 8 specific hours per cycle plus simulation training once every five years. Each dentist must maintain current hands-on CPR, and DEA-registered practitioners require a one-time 8-hour opioid/substance use course.
