About this course
“Pharmaknowledgy” is a term coined by Professor Pete Kreckel a 39 year veteran of community pharmacy practice. This term applies to useful knowledge to enhance patient care. This webinar is designed to show the clinical applicability of knowledge that pharmacists have. Knowledge that does not apply to patient care as Kreckel describes it is “Pharmacy Trivial Pursuit”. Along with his 39-year-journey, Kreckel’s career has been enhanced by outstanding pharmacy technicians. In this webinar, he shows how the interaction between his technicians provides excellent clinical care. His mantra is “patients don’t care how much you know… until they know how much you care!”

Peter A. Kreckel, RPh is a most unique breed of community pharmacist. He is a 1981 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. He has practiced independent community pharmacy for his entire career. He began his teaching career at St. Francis University in 2005, in the Department of Physician Assistant Sciences. For the past 16 years, he has taught Pharmacology to over 700 Physician Assistant Science students in their didactic year. He teaches all disciplines year-round, from Antibiotic therapy to Ob-Gyn.
