Detailed Breakdown

Massachusetts Pharmacist Standard Renewal Requirements - Pharmacists in Massachusetts must renew their licenses every two years by December 31 of even-numbered years and complete 40 hours of continuing education within that period, including at least 5 live hours and 2 hours focused on pharmacy law for each year. Home study and other mediated formats can count toward elective/general hour requirements, but there are caps on credit. Mandatory CE topics and requirements for pharmacists practicing in specialized areas are set by the state Board of Pharmacy – full details are always available at the Board’s site and official CE policy documents.
