About this course
Many clinicians are not fully aware of the clinical utility of applying noninvasive tools and biomarkers in patients with NAFLD and NASH. Furthermore, several clinicians are not fully aware of optimal treatment strategies in patients with NAFLD and NASH. Additionally, many healthcare professionals are unfamiliar with the clinical data on the efficacy of investigational therapies for NASH. This activity aims to describe for healthcare professionals the clinical utility of applying noninvasive tools and biomarkers in patients with NAFLD and NASH, summarize treatment strategies in patients with NAFLD and NASH, and examine the results of clinical studies about the medications for NASH patients.

Lance Azzo is a skillful pharmacist with several years of clinical pharmacy experience. He graduated in 2014 from Wayne State University with a PharmD degree. He has worked in managed care and specialty pharmacy throughout his pharmacy career, which has enabled him to gain a plethora of clinical knowledge on so many different therapeutic areas. His hobbies include traveling, watching movies, and learning about new medications and treatment guidelines.
