5 hours on controlled substances prescribing required every two years for licensees with a DEA number
Mississippi Osteopathic Physician Standard Renewal Requirements: Osteopathic physicians in Mississippi must renew their license annually by June 30, with a renewal notice sent by May 1 from the State Board of Medical Licensure. For license renewal, 40 hours of continuing medical education must be completed every two years. Those holding a DEA number must include at least 5 hours related to controlled substance prescribing within those 40 hours. There is no specified minimum for live or in-person hours, and no other mandatory topic hours or CE alternatives are detailed on the board's official renewal page Mississippi Code § 73-25-14 Renewals - MSBML .

Renewal logistics: Late renewal after June 30 triggers late fees; if expired more than one year, reinstatement through application is required. Mississippi Code § 73-25-14 Renewals - MSBML

I am always interested in continuing education in the areas of health, wellness, nutrition and mental health. Your course was well written, well organized and helpful in meeting state licensure requirements.
Very well written, easy to digest, time efficient, and straight to the point. Thank you!
I appreciate the convenience of the course being online and accessible through my phone and that it directly reports to CEBroker to support mandated education requirements.
I really loved this information. I was hospitalized last year for almost a month and I noticed multiple medical errors (not being hooked up to my IV multiple times, given wrong medication which caused my sodium to be very low, etc.) which lengthened my stay. I can now define those exact errors and better understand what happened to me. I hate that these medical errors are so common and I appreciate how well laid out your breakdown and categorization of them was.
I am always looking for concise ,thorough, and up to date continuing education, and this course provided exactly what I was looking for. Thank you
Enjoyed this course! It squarely met my license renewal requirement as a physician. It was well-written, and an altogether enjoyable read.
