Alzheimer’s /Dementia - One-time training on cognitive impairments required at initial licensure/first renewal
Domestic and Sexual Violence training (required for every renewal) Mandatory CE for Nurses - Mass.gov
Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse Standard Renewal Requirements: Massachusetts LPNs must renew their license every two years and complete 15 contact hours of continuing education from Board-approved providers. Mandatory subject hours include one-time cognitive impairment training and Domestic & Sexual Violence training at each renewal. All hours may be online or elective, and documentation of compliance must be kept for four years for audit.
