2 hours in Cultural Competency either approved by the Oregon Health Authority under ORS 413.450 or any cultural competency CPE
1 hour in Pain Management, provided by the Pain Management Commission of the Oregon Health Authority
Oregon Pharmacy Standard Renewal Requirements: Oregon pharmacists must renew their license every other year, with the license expiring on June 30 of odd‑numbered years. To renew, pharmacists must complete 30 hours of continuing pharmacy education within the cycle, including 2 hours in law , 2 hours in patient safety or medication error prevention , 2 hours in cultural competency , and 1 hour in pain management provided by the Oregon Pain Management Commission, plus 23 elective hours. There is no requirement for live or in‑person CE; all hours may be completed via approved formats and must be tracked through NABP CPE Monitor or uploaded to Oregon’s eGov system. First‑time renewal: If your license was issued between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025, you only need to complete a prorated number of CE hours by your first renewal, ranging from 16 to 4 hours depending on issuance date (16 h if licensed July‑Sept 2024; 12 h Oct‑Dec 2024; 8 h Jan‑Mar 2025; 4 h Apr‑June 2025).
