Oregon Pharmacy Standard Renewal Requirements: Oregon pharmacists must renew their license every other year, with the license expiring on June 30 of odd‑numbered years. To renew, pharmacists must complete 30 hours of continuing pharmacy education within the cycle, including 2 hours in law , 2 hours in patient safety or medication error prevention , 2 hours in cultural competency , and 1 hour in pain management provided by the Oregon Pain Management Commission, plus 23 elective hours. There is no requirement for live or in‑person CE; all hours may be completed via approved formats and must be tracked through NABP CPE Monitor or uploaded to Oregon’s eGov system.
