What are the CE requirements for Alaska Pharmacists?
Every Alaska pharmacist must complete 30 contact hours of continuing education per 2-year renewal period, from an ACPE accredited provider, to meet Alaska pharmacist license renewal requirements. Alaska sets no live-instruction minimum, so all 30 hours toward Alaska pharmacist continuing education may be completed online at your own pace with an accredited package like the Alaska Pharmacist Complete CE Package.

Pharmacists who administer vaccines or related emergency medication under 12 AAC 52.992 must complete 1 hour of ACPE-approved immunization CE for pharmacists , counting toward the 30-hour total. 12 AAC 52.320(e)

First-time renewal is prorated: an applicant renewing a pharmacist license for the first time must certify one-half of the standard continuing education requirement for each complete 12-month period the license has been held. 12 AAC 52.320(c)
