Required Courses:

  • 30 hours in Clinical Dental Care subjects, including successful completion of a BLS-HCP course

At least 30 CEUs shall be earned in clinical dental care subjects, including successful completion of a BLS-HCP course, with a hands-on component, given by an American Heart Association, Red Cross, National Safety Counsel, American College of Emergency Physicians, Military Training Network or American Safety and Health Institute qualified instructor, or sponsored or approved by organizations referenced in Den 403.07 (a)(1). At least 2 CEUs shall be earned in infection control in a live or online course which includes the Center for Disease Control Prevention and Control Guidelines and Recommendations in its syllabus. Dentists who have a DEA # associated with New Hampshire and who prescribe Schedule II-IV controlled substances, shall complete 3 CEUs of board-approved continuing education or pass an online examination per biennium, in the area of pain management and addiction disorder or a combination, as a condition for initial licensure and license renewal.
