Way way too long and wordy in the writings. So much that it loses focus and often times unclear when referring/addressing the Physician, the victim/survivor or perpetrator. This is too long with too much unnecessary information to get the educational details to the Physician. This way would be better present with video versus print.
personally, it really didn't teach me much that i already didn't know
The course would be better as one hour versus two. The most important information could then be more easily remembered.
It's a boring subject and I only took the course because it is required for license renewal. I do not prescribe opioids
The course provided helpful information to consider when working with older clients- to understand the barriers and stigma encountered with healthcare and society. The information was user-friendly and easily understood and applied.
Issues with your system in allowing to select more than one answer to fully respond to the questions asked.
The cost of this course should be free (included) for therapist who pay for FSRC membership
This course, while providing very good material for high end medical practitioners, was far and above what the average Massage Therapist would have time to discuss with any client and have it make sense to them. As a retired registered medical surgical nurse, with 25 years of experience I came into this class very delighted and pleased to be learning about a health condition my daughter and granddaughter both have. However, all the advanced microbiology level instruction is not something I would be comfortable using with my clients in general. This would likely be excellent for any professional working with in a clinic focused on this advanced info and with unlimited time. From a practical point there were many things to focus on referring our clients to get continued care beyond my scope of practice, but the in depth A&P info was out of my realm, and not likely useable on any regular basis. Thank you, and absolutely, Celiac and related issues need to be addressed better and more frequently.
I had to take it twice because the first time it was lost
some information specific to Florida law, which limits its relevence or applicability with other states.
Seems like there is some updated info that could be included, e.g. previously mentioned info about 988, language that reflects changes in the field based on lived experience feedback, and more in-depth discussion of screening tools and safety planning.
site was not the best - lost my test the first time, so I had to take it twice - that was a waste of precious time - also, this needs to be updated to include Texas state law, not Florida - I do know where to find Texas material on BHEC site, FYI
There was some quirkiness in the writing of this article. The learning objectives didn't match all of the article. There were some ideas - like chronic illness in teens and social media use as presented in the case study - that weren't fully developed.
I thought the questions were tricky, difficult, and some of the language was confusing.
I believe one of your answers is incorrect; I would recommend checking to ensure the answer key is correct (the one with the example about inappropriate documenting). Thank you.
very difficult to understand. too many study notes interfered with my comprehension. As I said previously, some clearer definition of the thrombolytic treatments would be helpful.
I very much liked the course on “Cannabis Conundrums”. The presenter provided excellent slides which corresponded to his oral presentation making it easy to follow.
The quiz was only on one page of the entire course which was odd to me
It's a little boring. Also need more nutrition like plant based education
question 10 asks for an appropriate intervention for weight loss. You have the answer as "sustained wt loss of 10% or greater, but that is not an intervention. She discussed several times decreasing calories from 500-750 calories per day. If I were to tell a patient to make sure they sustain weight loss of 10% or greater they would ask me how?
A lot of time-consuming repetitive examples and scenarios that basically just address a single patient type and yet having mostly similar learning elements
The first 10 questions of this test were almost impossible to answer as a licensed counselor, except for maybe question four. Questions 11 through 25 were 100% based on the material in the course, but the first 10 questions were not.
A lot of info to process. I was thrown out of the test twice and had to start all over
