Florida Certified Master Social Worker Standard Renewal Requirements: Certified Master Social Workers in Florida must renew their licenses biennially by March 31 of odd-numbered years, completing 30 continuing education hours per cycle. The CE includes 2 hours of Medical Error Prevention, 3 hours of Ethics and Boundaries or Telehealth taken in alternating renewal cycles, and every third renewal requires 3 hours of Laws and Rules plus 2 hours of Domestic Violence education. Qualified Supervisors must also complete 4 hours of Supervisor Training every third renewal. No minimum live hours are mandated, and CE must be from board-approved providers registered in CE Broker.
