This course taught me that even with a Master's Degree, I still need a refresher.

I disagree with some of the "right"answers. First one would be the gossipy nurse going to different units. A nurse should not be in the infectious disease unit just to gossip and should be told to cease and desist with her gossip travels. IF she has a reason other than gossip to go to the infectious disease unit, then hand washing is the best response. Second one has to do with verbal order by the doctor. You can take a verbal order as an RN from a doctor, and document, and the physician can write the order after the fact. However, if the doctor is onsite, the order should be written prior to administration.

It was well written and probably one of the best I've taken; as far as packages

I love how Florida in particular, sets up its CEU list so nothing is inadvertently missed.

I have never heard of NEWS2 and although it is not a protocol we use I will definitely benefit from this information

This course had a lot of information in it. It was a little difficult but I recommend keeping it for myself and for the future to retake because the information was very valuable and you can never get enough of that. I would retake this to refresh my memory for sure.

This was a good refresher on impairment and recognizing the signs in the workplace
