Would like to learn more techniques on how to massage individuals with spinal injuries.
I think the course was too long for the subject matter but i got what i needed from the course.
Scientific descriptions were a bit tough to manage and remember. Would have liked diagrams.
Working examples of diagnostic bias section/chapter did not adequately discriminate between Compensation Biases types.
TOO long! Seems excessive for primary care. I have no intention of ever starting a patient on long term opioids. They are pharmacologically inappropriate for that role.
There were some questions that I am sure the answers were incorrect and many misspellings.
We are not able to print the text and therefore, difficult to study and retain the information and learn from it.
These anatomy concepts need visual aids. The complete lack of visual aids made Me question if the writer actually wanted me to understand or just wanted my money. Made me realize that I prefer in person learning. But the knowledge was applicable
There must be more recent information in the last 5 years on this subject
This course was comprehensive and easy to understand. The citations have become quite outdated and are in desperate need to be modified to stay relevant.
Maybe this is my fault, and I hope I'll receive my 1 credit hour for the course (because I worked VERY hard to pass it!) but I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist and took this because of personal interest in the subject, but a CHEMIST i am NOT!!!
Wasn't pertinent to my profession except 1 sentence. use of outdated modalities.
Errors within course need fixed. Many of them affected the accuracy of the quizzes. They are easy to catch so I'm surprised they are there.
Basically I do not live in Texas any more. Frankly after taking this course my take home message was NEVER intervene with these people as you could either get them killed or beaten or yourself or your staff....
Course was good, just some typos especially in the testing portion that made it somewhat confusing
That was super easy, took 20 minutes, and should not have been 5 CEUs
needs more visuals, read a lot without any example can be a bit boring
This course is only intended to fulfill your CE requirements. Unfortunately, you don't learn much from it, but you still have to pay to get the hours to renew your license.
I found that several of the subjects that used statistics were out of date. I would have liked to see stats used that were not 8 years old. Also somebody didn’t edit the writing well. I found quite a few words were split making it hard to read. A simple spell checker would have fixed that.
I would have preferred more techniques for helping older adults with mental health issues.
It was okay. This wasn't terrible, but wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I think readings with bullet points are easier.
This was too in depth with medication for my purposes. It a compilation of many studies of type II diabetes medications.
Satisfies FL BON renewal requirements. Organization & presentation of course content could be better. Test answers contradicted course content more than once (e.g. HIV & AIDS test: 2 questions were marked incorrect despite using information pulled directly from the course [questions: therapy linked to hyperglycemia/DM & initial combo of ART]). CPR module was poorly designed (module sections with CPR steps/instructions for specific populations were presented in testing format requiring users to select a "correct" answer from the list of guidelines under each component of CPR e.g. compressions).
