Mississippi Physical Therapist Assistant Standard Renewal Requirements: Physical Therapist Assistants in Mississippi must renew their licenses biennially by June 30, staggered by last name for renewal years (A–L in odd years, M–Z in even years). They are required to complete 24 continuing education hours per renewal cycle, including 2 hours focused on ethics, professionalism, or jurisprudence. At least 6 hours must be related to clinical practice, and there is no minimum requirement for live or in-person hours. These requirements are detailed on the Mississippi State Board of Physical Therapy website
