Michigan Physical Therapy Assistant Standard Renewal Requirements: Physical Therapy Assistants in Michigan must complete 30 continuing education credits every two years as part of their license renewal process. There are no specified minimum live or in-person hours required, but all CE credits must be approved by Michigan. A one-time human trafficking training and 2 hours of implicit bias training within five years are mandatory topics. Renewal is conducted online through Michigan's MiPlus portal with associated fees.
