Required Courses:

At least one (1) hour of ACPE continuing education regarding administration of immunizations for Pharmacists who administer immunizations. At least one (1) hour of ACPE or CME 1 continuing education related to hormonal contraceptives. (Pharmacists who dispense and administer hormonal contraceptives based on the Pharmacy Access Protocol are required to obtain one hour of ACPE or CME 1 continuing education). For pharmacists who are dispensing contraceptives via patient-specific prescriptions as a normal course of their practice, the contraceptive continuing education is not required. Hours completed in excess of the requirement may be carried forward for credit in the next license year but may not be carried forward for more than one license year.
