I loved this empathy-driven curriculum for many reasons: it is easy to read and navigate; it explains the 2026 federal dietary guidelines, and includes infographics and tables; it is dense with recent research references, most of them peer-reviewed; it includes real-world scenarios ("you have 60 seconds until your next task"); it includes nursing actions; it provided new information (for me) about UPFs and food deserts; and it emphasized compassion and empathy when assessing a patient's diet history in a way that is respectful, safe, and welcoming. I am reminded to approach patient dietary assessment as more than a checklist.
