Infection Control and Barrier Precautions Required at initial licensure and every four years thereafter, this course covers the core elements mandated under Section 6505-b of the Education Law, including engineering and work practice controls to prevent the transmission of HIV and HBV in professional settings.
Child Abuse Identification and Reporting This updated 2-hour course reflects the 2025 amendments to Social Services Law 413 and includes expanded content on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and trauma, implicit bias, and identifying child abuse in virtual settings. All New York healthcare professionals are required to complete this updated training.
Pain Management, Palliative Care, and Addiction Risk Mitigation This course fulfills the DEA-mandated CE requirement for prescribers, covering New York State and federal requirements for prescribing controlled substances, evidence-based pain management strategies, end-of-life and palliative care, and addiction risk identification and mitigation. Physicians and PAs with DEA registration must complete at least 3 contact hours in these topics every 3 years.
