Connecticut APRN Standard Renewal Requirements: Connecticut APRNs must renew every two years and complete 50 contact hours of board-approved CE, including five hours in pharmacotherapeutics and specific one-hour topics like infectious diseases , risk management , sexual assault , domestic violence , cultural competency , and substance abuse . Two hours on mental health topics relevant to veterans and families must be completed during the first renewal period requiring CE, and at least, once every six years. CE can be taken in-person or online; licensees must attest to completion, maintain certificates for three years, and respond to board audits if requested. CT APRN CE Policy
