Ohio Audiologist Standard Renewal Requirements: Ohio audiologists must renew their licenses every two years by December 31 of even-numbered years , with the next renewal period opening October 2, 2026 for the 2027-2028 cycle. They must complete 20 hours of continuing education per renewal period, with at least half the hours specific to clinical audiology practice and 2 hours devoted to ethics training. There is no mandated minimum for live or in-person hours. The board allows continuing education through various approved activities including academic coursework and board-approved programs per Ohio Administrative Code rules .
