South Carolina Audiologist Standard Renewal Requirements: Audiologists in South Carolina must renew their licenses biennially by March 31 of the second year of the cycle, completing 16 hours of approved continuing education per renewal period. At least half the CE must relate to clinical practice, with a maximum of 2 hours via independent study requiring prior board approval. No mandatory topics are stipulated by the state board. Renewal without completion by March 31 results in license invalidity and requires reinstatement procedures.
