What is acceptable therapy and the difference between patient patients experiences with opioids
Good course although a couple of questions in the test were not part of the reading material.
I am a visual learner. While the majority of the presentations were written, there were many topics discussed that could have more written material while the moderator is speaking.
Some test questions were not discussed in reading. Incorrect answers were not shown to the student and unable to learn from errors.
Same information every time, for all of the programs especially the HIV/AIDS course. There are no updates past 2016 like HIV/AIDS just isn't relevant anymore. But yall got my money.... yay!!!
LOTS OF INFORMATION TO READ AND ATTAIN WOULD LIKE TO REFER BACK TO PAGES
Course was informative and well rounded. Not all topics were relevant to my specialty or renewal, however I enjoyed learning about them.
Less pharmacology and more focus on nursing modalities would be most beneficial.
This course had a high focus on pharmacy content and not well suited for an average nurse. I did enjoy the content. Having two or more options for the Georgia Nurse and describing those options would be great to see.
I like how there’s no videos and I can read everything clearly.
this course provided what I need for my CPE hours. I appreciate the organization and variety of topics. I did feel that there was a little too much pharmacology at the beginning but realize that is a large part of nursing.
The last talk on addiction was exceptional. I recommend to include more talks compared to reading.
I like to be able to read information the you tube talks were overwhelming at times.
It takes some time to get through. Links are provided in parts of the course and not others for external materials that would be important to the exams. But, it is comprehensive.
I did not like the fact that I had no choice in the courses provided or the order to take them.
There were one or two modules that seemed more appropriate for pharmacist than nursing. Otherwise, great.
Course is too long, much repitition .There is little information describing perpetrators, who they are and how recognized, and penalty for their actions.
American acupuncture history goes back over 200 years. In the 70’s we had interesting events with President Nixon and James Reston going to China etc. Miriam Lee and Dr. Tolbert Small in California. Mutulu Shakur at the Lincoln Detox clinic in New York. But don’t forget to look way back to the founding fathers of America. Thomas Jefferson’s physician, Robley Dunglison, experimented with “acupuncturation.” Benjamin Franklin’s great grandson and physician, Franklin Bache, also experimented and wrote about “acupuncturization,” in American medical and surgical journals. American acupuncture was present in the 1820’s.
The course covered a variety of interesting and practical content on prevalent or pressing medical conditions.
This course covered what it needed to to meet cont ed requirements for Ethics.
Many of the answers were difficult to locate utilizing the video presentation. Had to go back multiple times to find answer.
to hard to go back a review to be sure of answer
some of the test questions I marked right were changed somehow to different answer. I think there is a computer issue. ALso one of the videos started in the middle and I had to find the beginning
didn't know this was going to be more pharmacology than nursing but I learned a lot
