Please correct answers on Question #4 There are two choices of B & D both being correct answers!
You marked me wrong on 1 of the answers even though two of the answers are exactly the same.
Lots of pharmacology. Some quiz answers are graded incorrectly. Good content that is recent and relevant in nursing.
I wish I would have realized I couldn't pick my own topics for the hours in addition to the required CEU course topics. I'm not an aesthetician. It was my fault for not getting more info before purchasing it, but it wasn't what I was hoping for.
I ANSWERED QUESTION #4 CORRECTLY, YET IT SCORED AS WRONG. THE CORRECT ANSWER WAS THE SAME ANSWER I CHECKED. !!!! FIX THAT IMMEDIATELY. I DO NOT HAVE CONFIDENCE WITH YOUR COURSES IF YOU CANNOT PAY ATTENTION TO THAT DETAIL.
There was a lot of important information and I learned from it, but the presentation was boring. Just reading all the material and taking a test made it rather boring.
It felt like some of the courses were geared toward other healthcare professions, not necessarily nursing based. I would like to see more courses that are more relevant to direct patient care if it is included in an LPN or RN bundle. For example, some of the courses were clearly designed for dental professionals and pharmacists. While the material certainly overlaps some of the information is not necessary for nursing positions.
Would have been better if there were slides and someone talking through them. Reading everything was dull. Walking through a case presentation and assessments and interventions would have been helpful.
The questions are poorly worded. You would NOT do CPR on a victim of heart attack unlet they went into sudden cardiac arrest. Many people have heart attacks that do not require CPR. Same goes for 'near drowning". This is only one example of poorly written questions.
Some areas needed proof read for clarity, punctuation and spelling before being submitted. Otherwise, a positive experience.
Met requirements, however I would have preferred more dental office specific real world topics to be included.
The audio needs to be updated to reflect the new literature quoted in the text. Also, the audio reader should be improved. It kept reading "injury" as "inquiry" and could not identify if "read" was in the past-tense or present tense.
The test questions were worded and presented differently from the text presentation. This added to the difficulty of selecting the correct answer.
Presenter's were very knowledgeable. I would review the tapes to make sure things are working properly.
This bundle was marked for nurses, but had an inordinate amount of videos geared toward pharmacists and pharmacy techs. They had the words nursing on the slide, but much of the information was not directed toward nurses nor specifically applicable to nursing. I would have expected more courses specific to nursing.
I would have preferred to have the CME computed as each section being completed. Also there was one question that was mentioned wrong when it was actually right. Some review are repetitive and make the reading time last longer than 40 hours.
The reading material was in general very comprehensible. The studies seem to be dated however.
Course info does not apply to my daily work. Found the course boring.
I thought these courses would incorporate multimedia instead of simple words on a slide show.
The format seemed clunky. Less big pictures and better writing would be an improvement over the "listen to what is written". I would assume that anyone taking this course has enough vision to be able to practice medicine and therefore can read (of course, maybe that's wrong).
I'm rating this lower because I'm irritated that you MAKE me rate it. I worked all day and now I'm just trying to renew my license and being forced to participate in every single freaking survey whether I want to or not is annoying.
This is a nursing course, yet was 80% pharmacology and I was hugely disappointed. I only continued in the interest of time. Also the opioid and illicit drug portions were repetitive and that is not good use of eduction or time
I was just disappointed about a couple of the test questions that didn't even have the proper answer Human trafficking test question #12 had 2 options for answers choose option 1 which was both b and d (where were the options for b and d or even a and c for that matter) and the option2 was false (where was the true option?) there was another question in another test as well that had no option that made sense
decent and important information but the program should be more interactive, i.e., more quizzes or opportunities to process the information as it is being taken in. even some acted out role plays to make the information more clear. overall, in my opinion, the information is important to share, but it was a very boring learning experience.
