Geared too much to pharmacist and prescribing practices for many of the sections.
The course itself was interesting; however, it was misrepresented. This course package would be more beneficial for pharmacists and is not necessarily helpful for nurses.
If you are going to have audio, have a narrator read it.
Would like more practical examples. The topics addressed in the course were very general. Specific high-yield pit-falls or stories with morals that help providers avoid mistakes would be useful.
Boring and tedious. There ought to be a more palatable way of presenting this information.
Content was not good for learning. Simply writing the laws/rules is not helpful. I video highlighting the important content would be so much better
Many of the answers in the quiz section were incorrect and much of the research is out of date. Do not recommend.
I wish I could have picked my topics. Give at least a few options with the package. There were some non-required topics I was completely NOT interested in
Should be in the format of an interactive video, rather than reading facts
There were several outdated ideas, statistics greater than 5 years old, I was not able to go directly to any specific page number, and there were various clerical errors in the questions and answers that lowered my overall score.
i understand this being about infection control but it could have been more aimed towards cos, barber and esthetics.
seems a bit sparse for a 5 hour class. maybe take a book or poem and break it down as examples, show diff language examples, how ELL students may struggle , include a chart for change over time from KG to 5th grade with developmental approp. skills. Show more from common core.
The technical information was very good, but there was very little massage information. Some of the chapters only had one or two paragraphs about massage at the very end. This is not really a massage course.
Its 75% for medical vs dental. I never need to know this in depth about hiv medications, i dont do anything with that. still nice to have all CE in one place and it was a good price and great website so i will continue to buy it every cycle
There was too much pharmacist related lectures, not completely relevant to nursing practice.
Too much pharmacology and not nursing. Also some answers did not make sense
3 out of 10 of the test questions were marked as wrong although they were correct based on the information provided (and the objective facts). Very sloppy job. I'd suggest that this CE provider get their facts straight and in the meantime I suggest that acupuncturists choose another course for this requirement. I mean, they charge money for this and their material is inaccurate. You could easily fail the test after paying the fee because of their sloppiness.
Slide format is much more user/reader friendly and conducive to learning versus word documents
Did not find the material applicable to bedside practice, and most of the content dealt with medication prescribing, which is not within nurse's scope of practice.
This course needs more relevant topics for the average clinician. Incorporate pictures, graphs, videos to assist in comprehension.
Horribly confusing, and frankly, lazily compiled course. Just copying and pasting all the statues with no guidelines on what to focus on is a nightmare. Not a good way to help understand all the laws pertaining to acupuncture.
Very rapid discussion of the drugs without time to process the information. Irrelevant to my practice.
This course 1 sided on treatments. Takes the party line. Mask don't protect you, cdc knows this.
This was all pharmacology and not at all relevant for a staff RN. It was advanced practice level material.
