Creators of the course need to review and fix several errors. They ask questions about a fictional case that is not included in the text. Case numbers are no consistent between the text and the questions. Some of the questions are not questions or even statements.
The case study numbers do no coincide with those on the test. There is no Therapy for a Lonely Lady case to answer test numbers 15 and 16.
this course has NOTHING to do with my role as a cosmetologist.
Two questions were marked wrong incorrectly: Question #6 Lists T/F A 10-14 day course of streptomycin or gentamycin is standard treatment for tularemia. I answered FALSE and was counted incorrect, answer IS FALSE as treatment is 14-21 day course of doxycycline or Cipro Question #12 CORRECT answer (my answer) is E) BOTH A & C, answer on testing listed A only, BUT C) a high incidence of a disease at an unusual time or location is ALSO TRUE: making correct answer BOTH A&C not just A-So my score of 89% should be 100%
Primarily on meds was good but seemed at times to be more focused on appropriate prescribing doses instead of something in nursing scope of practice.
The quiz was terrible. One question was not even an actual question, it was an answer option from a previous question. Another question had two of the same answer options. Several of the "case" questions were about a case study not even discussed in the training. Terrible questions that referred to content that did not exist in the training.
I was not clear that this would be a written format, with no video. The subject matter was written dryly. The case examples in the second part were better but the first part of the course was hard to tolerate.
This only covered infection control that focused mainly on covid-19 and healthcare professionals. This course was not tailored to the salon environment, for example I was expecting refreshers on proper sanitation and infection control within the salon/workplace. Also, this course did not include safety for salon professionals, for example I was expecting topics such as proper ergonomics and workplace hazards within salon environments specifically. If we are required to complete 3 hours of CE about infection control and safety, at least make it pertinent to the profession.
This is the second time I've had to purchase this last time it was not reported, and my license is delinquent although all of the other courses in the 30-credit package were reported this one was reported to my last fully completed license that was expired? really?
it doesnt tell you what question you got wrong in the qize section.
One question has the wrong thing selected as correct. Should have has a perfect score of 100. I’m quite mad.
This course really had nothing to do about infection control within the salon. I do not work in the medical field so I don't think it is necessary for me to know about the routine for transporting sick people to the hospital.
Got all of them right and then when I pushed the next button it said I got two wrong. Happened last time too. I made sure to document it this time. Fix your system. Also this was all about Covid. Nothing else.
This course, along with every other course MDs are required to take by their respective state boards are a complete JOKE and waste of time/money
repetitive of years past wish it applied more to the salon and salon professionals
This is the first CE I’ve taken on this site and i really hope that the others offered are better.
One of the questions answers both were "true". when the correct answer was obviously false.
Says it's for mental health professionals but has nothing to do with my profession. All inpatient/medically based
One star because I can't give zero stars. This Implicit Bias training was not helpful. There are multiple errors throughout. I do not learn best by reading for hours, with tons of information that is really not accurate. Speaking that this training was about IB, why isn't there an option for audio for this training? Or any other learning style other than the one singular type for this training. It was daunting to read through things, just to find out that they make no sense. For example. Read your example for Gender bias; Preferring one gender of another has nothing to do with religion or sexual orientation. This was painful. Also the first question on the Evaluation page... Strongly Agree or Strongly Agree, I appreciate that I cannot disagree, as this is an IB training, and ideologies and response options are forced. It's extremely clear that whoever put this training together did not edit or review any of the material, and that this training from this company is accepted for my license is even scarier. Very poor presentation. Very hypocritical education to offer just one type of training to fit into the box not everyone fits into.
Very basic. Other than learning the difference between Flonase and Flonase Sensimist, I learned nothing new.
Sux should never be given in a case with only sedation. How would you like to be awake enough to know what is going on but unable to breathe or speak? There is no reversal for Sux. There are several other errors, too. Just because a man is on chronic opiods does not mean he cannot receive naloxone if needed. Nor will he only need half of the usual pain medicine. If anything, he needs more. The list goes on. This person is not a CRNA or MDA.
