Colorado Medical Doctor Renewal Requirements: Colorado physicians renew on a fixed biennial schedule—April 30 of odd-numbered years. DPO Colorado Beginning with renewals on/after Jan 1, 2026 (first affecting the April 30, 2027 renewal), MDs must complete 30 hours of Board-recognized CME in the prior 24 months, while continuing to complete 2 hours per cycle in substance-use prevention/treatment. I can now define those exact errors and better understand what happened to me.
