Arizona Pharmacy Technician Standard Renewal Requirements- Arizona pharmacy technicians must renew their licenses every two years by November 1, completing a minimum of 20 continuing education hours per cycle. Of these, at least 3 hours must focus on opioid/substance use disorder or addiction, and 17 can be general elective topics. Additional requirements apply if you work as a remote dispensing pharmacy technician. I was hospitalized last year for almost a month and I noticed multiple medical errors (not being hooked up to my IV multiple times, given wrong medication which caused my sodium to be very low, etc.) which lengthened my stay. I can now define those exact errors and better understand what happened to me. I hate that these medical errors are so common and I appreciate how well laid out your breakdown and categorization of them was.
