Required Courses:
- 2 hours on Law
- Must be live as provided by NMBOP for those who reside/practice in NM
- If out of state, home study is acceptable as long as it is ACPE-approved
- 2 hours on Patient Safety
- 2 hours on Use of Opioids
Live Hour Requirement:
- 10 live hours
- Pharmacist Clinicians are required an additional 20 live hours every two years
Special Requirements:
- 2 live hours on vaccines for those who exercise prescriptive authority for vaccines
- 2 hours on tobacco cessation drug therapy for those who exercise prescriptive authority for tobacco cessation drug therapy
- 2 live hours on naloxone drug therapy for those who exercise prescriptive authority for naloxone drug therapy
- 2 live hours on hormonal contraception drug therapy for those who exercise prescriptive authority for hormonal contraception drug therapy
- 2 live hours on formulary drug therapy for those who exercise prescriptive authority for POCT formulary drug therapy
